Frequenty Asked Questions

How do I reset my password?

To reset your password, click on the Login button in the upper right corner of the centrelearn.com home screen. At the bottom of the pop-up login box is a "Forgot Your Password?" link. Follow the prompts to reset your password, which will send you an email with instructions.

If you no longer have access to the email address listed in your account or if your account has an invalid email address on file, fill out the help request form on the right.

I'm typing my username and password but still can't log in. What gives?

Usernames and passwords in CentreLearn are CASE SENSITIVE. This means that "MyPassword" is not the same as "mypassword" so please ensure you are entering your information exactly as it was given to you.

Why do I see "Your session has expired" after I log in?"

This happens because your browser settings or security software blocks us from setting cookies on your computer.

The following instructions are for Internet Explorer, other browsers are similar:

  • Open up Internet Explorer and click Tools then select Internet Options
  • Click on the Privacy Tab
  • Click on the Default Button to apply Default privacy settings
  • Click on the Security Tab.
  • Click on the Default Level button.
  • Click Apply then OK.

If changing browser security settings above did not resolve the issue, you are likely running internet security software such as Zone Alarm or Norton Internet Security Suite, possibly bundled with your antivirus software. Test this by disabling any installed security software and try logging in to CentreLearn. If that resolves the issue, you'll need to add the address www.centrelearn.com to your allowed sites (white list). See your security software documentation for instructions.

I had a mysterious error or was logged out while taking a test. Why did this happen?

We know how tempting it can be to open a second browser window to view content while you are taking an exam. CentreLearn does not support this, and you can only have one CentreLearn session open at a time. If you attempt to open another CentreLearn session in a new browser window, your first session will automatically be logged out. Also, it is not recommended that you use the Back button on your Internet browser as this may cause unusual behavior.

I've watched to the end, but why can't I get my lecture or video to complete?

The two most common causes are internet security software on your computer, or custom/modified internet browsers. Please make sure you are allowing the site www.centrelearn.com in any security software, and are using a standard/non-modified versiion of IE, Firefox, Chrome or Safari. Modified versions of Internet Explorer, such as MSN Explorer or AOL Explorer, do not play nicely with many systems.
